Co-sponsored a major forum on stem cell research April 30, 2006, with the St. Louis Chapter of Hadassah, the Ethical Action Committee of the St. Louis Ethical Society, and Friends of the First Unitarian Church. The forum featured a scientist and a physician from Washington University, a stem cell recipient and patient advocate, and a representative from the Missouri Coalition of Lifesaving Cures.
