Thursday Evening Programs Planning Committee

Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee meets on the 4th Friday of the month to discuss timely social justice issues, review legislation at the state and federal levels, and direct Women’s Voices positions and actions on legislation and ballot measures. Gun Violence Focus Area

Our Lock It for Love project provides gun safety education and free gun locks to St. Louis area residents who have children living in or visiting their homes. For more information, contact Lock It for Love coordinator, Pat McLafferty at gunsolutions@womensvoicesraised.org.

Racial Justice

The Racial Justice Committee addresses the complex and inter-related issues of institutional racism and racial disparities in areas such as education, health care, and housing. The major focus areas of this work include affordable housing and criminal legal reform.
