Lock It for Love (LIFL) Volunteer Sign-Up
Since 2015, Women’s Voices Lock It for Love volunteers have distributed over 15,000 FREE gun locks at health fairs and other community events, while talking to parents and caregivers about the importance of safe firearm storage. Volunteers liaisons also maintain a supply of the locks at each branch of the St. Louis Library and select branches of the county library system as well. Our message is simple: Adults can prevent children from being killed or injured by locking up their guns.
Volunteers are instrumental to the success of the Lock It for Love program by establishing connections, training partner organizations, delivering locks to them, preparing materials and in continuing to distribute locks at community events when possible.
By contributing as little as two hours of a month, you can make a positive difference in decreasing gun-related injuries. Please join Women’s Voices in this important work.
