Remember The Victims – Protect The Children

As we mourn the deaths of the children and educators on the 4th anniversary of the Sandy Hook shootings we think about all the children under 17 who are killed by gun violence every year.  We know we can’t prevent people from having guns in their homes, but we can help keep children safe.  Members of the Women’s Voices Raised for Social Justice Common-Sense Gun Solutions Committee have given away more than 1,200 gun locks to people who own unsecured guns and have children in their home.  We pledge to continue our “Lock It For Love” initiative.

More than 12,000 people in the U.S. have died from gun violence this year.  In the St. Louis region we suffer nearly one death every day.   We invite you to join our vigil by remembering the men, women and children who died from gun violence in St. Louis City and St. Louis County in 2016.  To join our vigil:
